God’s Love is Personal

Call to Worship

God’s love is personal. Scripture tells us that God knew us before we worn born, that holiness knows our names and the numbers of hairs on his it head. That the creator of the world bends down to hear our prayers, and that they call us friend.

God has always loved me and will always love me. 

You are not a carbon copy of anyone else who has ever been or will ever be. You are your own combination of knowledge, experience, talents, skills, sense of humor, and ways your process the world. You are as unique as your fingerprint. Your laugh, your leadership, your presence is a gift to the world because there will never be another you. You are irreplaceable. 

God’s love for us is person and our holy relationships are each unique and sacred. 

God’s love for you is consistent. It does not grow or lesson depending upon our successes or failures, our certainties, or our questions, our achievements or our mistakes. Gods love is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. 

God loves meets each of us just where we are and loves us just as we are. 

Prayer:

God, thank you for personal love and care for each of us. May we sense your personal invitations to each of us to connect with you uniquely today and everyday. Amen
